
Del’s Bran Muffins
These are the best bran muffins I have ever tasted. They're nice a moist, extremely tasty and on top of that they will keep you very regular!

Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, whole
- 1 1/4 cups flour, whole wheat
- 1 1/4 cups flour, all purpose
- 2 1/2 teas. baking soda
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup bran
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cups All-Bran Cereal
- 1/2 teas. salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup golden raisins
Instructions
- Cream the butter with the sugar and eggs. Sift the flour with the baking soda and add to the butter, sugar & egg mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix well.
- Combine the All Bran with the boiling water and let stand for a couple of minutes. Fold in the All-Bran and the salt, mixing well. Add nuts and raisins and mix well.
- Fill muffin cups 3/4 full and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or till done.
